Growing up in Liberia, West Africa, my adventures in the arts started with my fascination with images that made up my surroundings. As a child, I observed as women in my village weaved fishing baskets and made farms while clothed in fabrics depicting native Liberian folktales. Life was art, colorful, and warm. While I was amazed as a child, I appreciate the environment of my upbringing more as an adult because I'm left with impressive mages.

In the early 2000’s, I resettled with my parents and siblings in Minneapolis.  I started college in 2006. While in college, I discovered the power of photography while taking a black and white photography course. I finished my studies at St Catherine University with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Studio Arts (Graphic Design) and Communication.

In graphic design, hours are spent creating a message using images, text, texture and colors to communicate. The design process requires patience and creativity. In photography, although what needs to be photographed may already exist, attention to details and creativity are still required.

Photography has allowed me the opportunity to meet and interact with wonderful people. As your photographer I am here to bring your vision alive and to capture your precious moments.
